!!Bad hesitation and misfire in cylinder 1 in 2000rpm range!!
Sorry sorta long.....I have a 97 a4 1.8tq auto and have terrible hesitation at around 2000-2700rpms. Anything after that rpm it seems to be fine. If I were to try to accelerate while coasting it would be hard because I am at that certain rpm range, the car would not accelerate it would hesitate and or studder. I have changed the coil packs around and spark plugs and just replaced the thingy above the air box. I the dtc is cylinder 1 misfire and random misfire. By the way the cylinder did not change on changing coil and plugs. Even checked the vaccum lines and they seem to be fine and also no cel at the moment. Any suggestions

Just makin sure. had bad misfire, switched all 4 top air box plugs, and misfires stayed on same cyl,
