bad outside temp reading... making climate control react incorrectly
is the outside temp sensor the part i should replace to fix this? PN 8D0 820535.
i am homping to fix my wacky outside temp readings which messes up the climate control output when the reading is off.
inside display ranges from +110ºF to -50ºF and when its below +32ºF the windows fog and i get nothing but HOT air even when its actually around +60ºF outside.
any experiences with this part and/or a real fix for this problem?

check the connection
Under the hood there is a connector that leads to the sensor. Once when doing something to my car, I left it disconnect and it read 60 degress even though it was closer to 20 at the time. I can't tell you what it would do to the climate controls, I figured out my mistake right away.
