Hey everyone I'm having some world of headaches but here is my question. I have a 1997 A4 1.8t quattro and a 2000 A4 1.8t quattro, 97 is automatic but it's the basic auto with no tiptronic and is bad like stuck in netural? And the 2000 is a manual 5 speed. I plan to swap most of the goodies and the 5 speed transmission to the 97 shell. Both cars are mostly completely and have everything I need to do a swap I think? Would I be able to use the ecu from the 97 with the manual transmission or would I have to just go standalone. As the 2000 ecu has previous owners unknown tune and really just need the help. On what route I should go? I just need the 97 to be manual and back on the road lol
