Bearing problems
So i brought my car back today and asked them about it. We went for a drive, and the guy said he thought it was my wheel bearing. They looked at it and confirmed it.
So Wagner Audi in Boylston says it will probably cost between $290-325 to fix, not including diagnostic fee which is $75/hour. I thought that diagnostic fees and whatnot were removed if you ended up getting the service done there. Kind of like body shop estimates...they charge $35 to estimate a problem, but then reimburse you if you bring your car there to get it fixed.
Ok, so my questions are this:
Has anyone else had this problem or similar?
Do these symptoms sound like a wheel bearing problem?
Does the pricing sound fair?
Any advice you could give me would be great. Thanks
