boost???

Ok, just left purems got the apr chip installed. The boost guage isn't showing a steady increase in boost or holding. It flutters all the way up until it spikes at about 18-19. Boost leak I'm assuming? the only factory vaccum line is the one with the fuel filter. It's very brittle and looks like it has a whole. Sitting at 60 in 5th and punching it the car stutters all the way up to 80...

I think that you found your problem....

fix the leak and then report back

do you mean vac line to fuel pressure regulator?

if so, that one is cake to replace...do it so you can feel full boost!

that's the one it's frayed all over the place so that prolly it.

fixed...

It was the line running from the fuel pressure regulator. Boost guage isn't fluctuating any more or anything. Holding steady. Wow...what a difference that chip makes.
