My APR chip hits 20 psi on my boost gauge but it's supposed to be a 14.7 psi chip. My stock hits 9 psi so I know it's not the gauge. Is this a normal level?

His might be a 2001 car, they make 9-10 psi stock.

I get the same

With the original performance chip software version (not sure the number, but it was what I gor last fall) it would spike at 20 but drop back to about 16 immediately, dropping slowly above 5k RPM to about 12 at redline. With version 2.1 though, the boost jumps to 19-20 and stays there until 5k RPM then goes down slowly from 20 to about 15 between 5k and 6.5k.

This happens in each gear as far as I can tell but things go by so fast in 1st it is hard to be sure. In 2nd and 3rd it is easy to see it all evolve.
