Default boost problem

so i have a 98.5 1.8t and i just installed my boost guage today and i have no boost and when i idle i have 20 vac. my car is GIAC chipped and i have a 710n DV. i knew from the start my car felt slower and now i finally know that there is no boost going through. and at WOT at most its 1-2 psi. So what should i do? i have my stock ecu sitting in my room i bought the giac and ecu togther.
EDIT: oh i noticed that my fuel gauge needle moves only when idle it sort of moves up and down, really strange.
Thanks in advance.

Default i'm having about the same problem...

you might want to try swapping in a different N75 valve to start with, could be many things though

Default if you have long arms you can reach it from above

otherwise you'll probably have to get under it, try to see if there's a lot of play in the rod on the wastegate actuator <img src="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/images/product/iadmin/2632_x450.jpg">
if so that might be your problem (specifically speaking to shinobi.

QuattroCory, have you check all your vacuum lines for tears, freys, or breaks?

Default if it wasn't obvious already, the actuator is connected to the turbocharger

which sits (if you are looking into the engine bay from the front of the car) down and to the right of the Airbox, on the other side of the heatshield.

Default i'm having rennen check it out again monday

the last time i went there a construction crew hit a ground wire and blew a transformer so they lost power, and couldn't do any work inside..

we swapped in a new N75 and a new MAF, but neither helped..
