Bose Speaker Problem
Has anyone had a problem with a rear speaker in the Bose stereo? I am going to have to take this in right away because it is driving me crazy. The question is, are they going to replace the speaker and how long will it take to get one in? Any ideas? I know I could just call them, but I figured I would just ask here first.

Well I've seen two different problems and I'm sure your problem is one of them. The first problem was a vibration that I think was coming from the rear deck. I don't think that the deck was mounted correctly or it was missing some insulation. The problem wasn't on my car so I can't be sure of the cause.
On my car I had a vibration that started out being fairly quiet and then got louder and louder. I looked into this problem thinking it was the rear deck. As I looked into it more, I found that it was actually my left subwoofer that was vibrating (blown). The dealer ordered one in a few days BUT it was the wrong speaker (non-BOSE). It took a few more days to get the right speaker.
I'd recommend taking the deck off and playing the stereo. Then just zero in on the sound if it's still there. If not, it's the deck. I did this and zeroed in on the speaker as the problem. Just to make sure, I pulled the speaker and it was still loudly vibrating in my hand.
