Bose system?
Here are the specs on my new silver/blk 01 A4 1.8T quattro 5spd...
Quattro sport package
Celebration package(moonroof/dimming)
Xenon HID lights
cd changer
** I really wanted the Bose system too, but we couldn't locate one with everything above + Bose. I realized as soon as I left the dealership that the stock Audi Symphony is not gonna cut it! I wanted the Bose so I wouldn't have to bother with stereo stuff, but I guess I have to now. Do you guys think it would be worth it to try and upgrade to the Bose system or should I go with something else? I'm more into performance, but still want a nice sounding system. I'm looking for clear accurate sound with tight bass. Do you guys think it would be worth it to try and upgrade to Bose or should I look elsewhere? Does anybody know what exact parts I would need for the Bose and how much it would cost? If I don't go Bose, then I was thinking about getting Boston Acoustics Pro series or MB quart all around with a nice PPI amp and that small black Infinity subwoofer. I want to keep my car as clean as possible, so I don't want a custom box in the trunk and don't need a crazy 1000W system you can hear a 1/4mile away, just nice clear sound with a little bass. I've haven't had the chance to hear the Bose yet, but to those of you who have it... how do you like it? Which do you guys think would be better? If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don't hesitate to share... thanks in advance.

I have bose...
...and in all honesty, I would suggest you go else where. It's really not all that. Makes me wish that I didn't get it in the first place. And no, I'm not selling it...at least not yet. For the money you are gonna bone up for a system suited to your prefs, might as well do it right. I know I will after my all go-mods are done.

Bose is nice......but.......
I would trade it for Xenons any minute and get the $150 savings thank you very much. Bose is great (OK for a $650 option), but only if you tweak the hidden equalizer buttons. It doesn't come with a sub so if you want BASS you got to get a sub.
Did I mention I would trade someone's Xenons for my Bose any minute now?
