Bummer

I was planning on selling my 16" seven spoke wheels with M2s and getting 17" with snows. Now my company has announced a 10% pay cut accross the board for everyone. Looks like I stay with 16" rims next winter again. Could almost use them today - it is snowing in Colorado again(not just the mountains) but the roads are clear just about two or three inches on the lawns.

Yuck what kinda business are you in where they do 10% pay cuts? Some sales type of thing?

Sounds to me like the nice kind of business that prefers cutting pay to cutting heads! Agilent?

I have a friend in the tech sector who's company just gave across the board 20% cuts. Ouch!

Possibly HP & Agilent aren't doing too we...you can see the latest news at www.****edcompany.com

Looks like they chopped 2,500 people so maybe they're not as benevolent as you make them out to be? I'm all for pay decrease over termination assuming everyone is pulling their weight...if you're a ballast though...cutting you may save a good number of people having to experience a pay cut...all the more reason to perform well on the job :-)
