Cat Efficiency below threshold?
16806 P0422 Main Catalyst Efficiency - Below Threshold
reset the code a few times and it keeps coming back.
i did a search and some say it's just the O2. I replaced the front O2 about 20K ago. the rear one is still the orig one.
2000 1.8T-Q
about 130K.
the O2s are 100 bucks + so i rather not just swap parts just for S&Gs. what's the procedure to test the O2s on the vag-com?
do i need to replace the cat? the stock one is still on the car.

ok i'm a little new at this...

if the O2 is bad wouldn't it just tell me the O2 is bad?

where are you located?
how much are you asking?
how many miles on the current unit?
i might not get back to you for a week or so bc it's the gf's mother's car and she's on the road a lot.
