Cd Changer???
I bought an orginal audi Cd changer from the dealer off a 98 trade in. It would not fit on my
98.50 (different plugs, different system on 98.50 concert)..I tried getting an adapter but I was told that nobody makes them..any suggestions??
I posted it yesterday on classified and got
five responses of people showing interest. Most of
them are asking if it will work on 96 ,97,or 98 models? would it work??..Help???

The CD Changer you have works with the Delta head unit ('96, '97, early '98)...
You're in luck, as the changer you bought is the more expensive unit and the harder one to come by. There were no aftermarket alternatives to that OEM changer (that maintained the head unit functionality), and they weren't cheap. I'm sure you'll have no problem selling it to anybody who's looking for one.
The changer that works with your car (Concert head unit) can be bought from Clairparts.com for less than $300, I believe, and should be a simple plug and play.
