CD Changer help please!!

I have the 601. I found the grey foam wrapped balc round 13 pin or so connector in the compartment. I know I can't plug it directly into the changer. I need to know what adapter to get. Panasonic sent me 3 different ones. All go from a round black connector to a snap in plug type.

I use an adaptor made by Blitzsafe

that allows you to use the Panasonic 601 changer (if you have the Audi OEM with the Audi rings you don't need the adaptor).

Using the adaptor and the Panasonic changer, everything should connect with no problems. Only the random function will not work (it only randomizes on a single disc so it isn't a great feature anyway).

As far as I know, 601 and 801 has different adapters. better check archive for more info.

Call Blitzsafe and ask to speak with Lincoln

I don't know Blitzsafe's phone number, but they're somewhere in the NY/NJ area. I had to track down the correct adapter when I bought the 801 from Autotoys, and they sent me the wrong adapter. Lincoln came through like a champ.
