CEL on

First time out of warranty (2001.5 a4 tqmsx). Vag-Com gave me 17536 "Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean. P1128 - 35-10 - Intermittent. Checked measuring blocks 030, 033, 036 037; all were within range as noted on Vag-Com. Changed two braided vacuum hoses to no avail. Measuring block 032 was triggering CEL at around 23 Removed Mass Air Flow Sensor and doused it with CRC QD Electonic Cleaner through the grating. I didn't have the torx socket to remove it. (btw mine is 6 point with the dimple, although i ordered the 5 point that i thought i needed from zdmack). it's gone 150 miles without the cel, with block 032 around 21. if it works, it works. I got a lot of info from this great site, the Bentley book and CD. One needs all three.
