Ok, I read the F.A.Q. on the cell phone install but I'm still somewhat confused. On an 99.5 can I just plug in any Motorola cell phone (i.e. StarTac) in the armrest phone jack to take advantage of the A-pillar mic? If so, where do you purchase the cable; is it a Motorola product? Is power provided through the phone jack? Do you absolutely require an external antenna? What else is required? I know, too many questions.

nope. The cable by itself won't do anything.
The phone jack is not connected to anything by itself. The wires go to a plug in the trunk. That is where you'll need to connect some kind of handsfree device. You can buy an existing kit and modify it (Nokia FAQ) or build one yourself from scratch (My startac kit). The former requires basic electronic knowledge while the ladder requires a moderate underatanding of analog electronics.<p>David
