Central Locking question

the "brain" in my CLP has been causing some bizzare problems such as the windows rolling when i open the trunk, my hazards flashing when i open my pass. door, etc. My question is, if these problems have stopped, is it possible that it dried out and is fine? Is there any way of checking to see if it needs replacement if there are currently no symptoms?

perhaps you can check it with a vag to see if there are codes

Check Coding

Check your coding with a VAG. If it continues probably need a new Central Lock Unit IMHO. $520 +/-from a dealerhip.
