Default Changing a flat

Here's a handy Audi-owner tip: Carry a rubber mallet in your trunk tool area. You'll need it to loosen the freaking wheel from the hub after the bolts are out.

It's either the mallet, or bruise the hell out of your heel kicking the wheel loose.

Cheers,

or clean the hub and put some anti-seize on it before you put the wheel back on.

Default same here, but my last one because I don't have much tread left on the RF because of a track day :-)

so, I swapped it to the RR for the Pocono North road course 2 weeks ago. And, guess who spun out (on the track) in the rain on a tight left-hander?

I need tires.

Default Maybe on a rotor, but never on a wheel--rotate every 3500 miles or so . . .

and you will never have to use a mallet to get the wheels off the rotor.

Additionally, you can simply sand off the rust and/or corrosion on the surfaces between the wheel and the rotor. If you have never done so, you should do it every once in a while, as the rotor will often rust unless it's coated and, in any event, lots of super-fine brake dust particles will collect in that area.
