Check Engine Codes
I got 2 check engine codes in the past 2 weeks,the first one came when i picked up my car from the shop when they installed my neuspeed sway bars and the second faulty code came when i picked up my car from the body shop after painting the lowers(front& back)both codes were random misfire,can simply leaving the key in the ignition switch cause these codes to appear?after reseting the car runs smoothly !!! WTF ???

No, those codes would not be set with the engine off....
...and the key in the ignition.
Bad gas or too much oil is the usual culprit.
If the car runs fine and the codes don't reappear, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Assuming it is a 1.8T, these codes were probably set when the shop started the car and only.........
ran the engine a few moments before shutting it off. (To move the car around the shop) This often causes fuel fouled spark plugs, which can cause a misfire DTC code to be set when the car is restarted.
