Check engine light problem
I bought a OBDII code checker and plugged it in and checked the car for codes.The car showed no problem codes but now the check engine light stays on?? I have driven the car multiple times since checking but the light continues to stay on? Any suggestions to clear the check engine light? It seems to work just fine on other vehicles showing problems and clearing the dash light. Just not on the A4?? Thanks in advance..Steve

Disconnect the battery for a minute, reconnect
If the problem is not present - no more code. If this code comes back - you still have a problem.
Make sure you have your radio code, I think the older models require you to re-enter the radio code

Have you tried the VAG tool locator?
