which chip
i have a 98 1.8t, and im looking at chips right now, mainly the apr with 91 octane program for now. would you recommend a different chip like a giac or upsolute. or go with the APR. im getting a GHL turbo back with the high flow cat, and have a forge motorsport d/v already due to my stokc one tearing. thanks.

The closest chip dealer to me is Stratmosphere, but I don't really want to pay $695 for an O.CT chip...I dont see what makes it worth $300 more than a giac or apr. The closest giac dealer or apr dealer is hundreds of miles away as far as I know..

distance doesnt matter, ill send it out to what ever company has the best rate. but achtuning is close, futrell is close as for apr chips.. achtuning is no good in my books though. i had the cash for the chip the guy said that chips were on order for my ecu and he would call me when they came in. he never called me and that was in october, i called him about a month later and he said again that they were ordering them. so they suck, im not dealing with them.

You wan't a local dealer just in case you have problems
unless you don't mind waiting 3-4 days.
I just purchased a garret chip and I like it a lot.
For $50 extra you can swap the stock ecu back in and out.
