Default Chipping
I read somewhere on here that I can't chip my car after it's hit 100k miles. is this true? why the hell should that matter one bit?

Default you obvioulsy didnt read that here...
as long as your compression/leak-down check out fine and your turbo has a clean bill of health...chipping is A-OK.
I chipped at 92K after I replaced my shot turbo.

i did read it here, but thanks for the info i was a little scared, my a4 is approaching 100k and i want to chip it just need to do some other stuff to it first.

Default What ever you read is right. Our cars will fall apart and die at exactly 100k
More seriously if you checked you would see that many people chip or even go big turbo at over 100k
