CHIPPING..Problems?

Hello everyone!
I'm about to spend 500 dollars on an APR chip for my A4 1.8t..

I was wondering..what are the pros and cons of chipping??

Less gas mileage? is it bad for the car? do you get to keep your old ECU?

I know nothing about chipping.. Please give me all the information I should know before I chip my car! Thanks everyone!!

Less mileage, not too bad on the car that depends on the driver, $500 is just for the chip to be...

install onto your original ECU, if you want to keep your original for a spare.
Better think about buying a chipped ECU from the AW classifieds. As for the
the rest do a search and you'll find tons of info.
