Chips...
I have had my A4 1.8T Quattro for almost a year (13K miles) It is still 100% stock. I am VERY close to having it chip-tuned and am in the typical quandary...which chip...<p>I attended the NE Performance Event today (I got some great pix, email me if you are interested and I'll post them somewhere...where??) and I must admit it just added to my confusion. I heard discussion that the Neuspeed chip didnt really "come on" until 4000 RPM...this was a strong contender for me, but I am really wanting the power bosst in the low end...I dont do much highway driving, so I want more ooomph at lower revs.<p>Is the Autothority chip better at the low end? or thw Wett? Any suggestions...help ideas...<br>Ive searched through this archive, and have read a lot of the posts...I like the Wett, AutoThority and the TAP chips...I also want to upgrade the exhaust...how to I stage this?<br>does the exhaust affect the chip (vice versa?) Im thinking of someting like the TAP stage 2 kit..<p>If I got the Wett chip, what exhaust is compatible?<p><br>HELP guys...I HOT to get this upgrade...
