IBE Switch

GIAC will be releasing a switching feature that will be activated via remote control. It should be available for the A4 soon.

There is no exact date

Garret says it should be soon, but I really can't tell you what that means. IIRC he is waiting for FCC approval. I have seen it work, and it is very cool.

Well, at least, if you already have a GIAC, you will get full credit towards the IBE switch. You won't be SOL for already having the regular chip.

I know a few S4 owners that have the beta version of IBE and it works pretty good. I heard it is set to be released in about 2 months, but it has to clear FCC like maracuja said
