Clear corner mod. To do or not to do......
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/87322/img_0289.jpg"></center><p>Don't want to spend $$ for ecodes but thought about the DIY mod of removing the reflector on my 01.5. Will this hurt the value of the car in any way? I suppose the average buyer in the future wouldn't know the differance. That orange reflector stands out like a sore thumb the more I look at it!

Do it...*edit*
When/if you do it make sure you use a bit that is just big enough to hit the tabs. No use having 3 big black holes on each side when they can be little!
Also as said before make sure to seal it all back up properly.
Last it looks MUCH better. I wasn't really sure if i should do it but now I can't belive i waited so long to do so. Now I just need the new corner bulbs. Good luck.
*EDIT*
I got thinking about the size of bit and I remembered that the first hole i drilled it was too small of a bit so it didn't take out the entire tab. Not only did i break the bit in the end i scratched the lens a little bit where the remainder of the tab was dragging. Not too bad but i can still notice.
So the size of bit is key.
Also as said before make sure to seal it all back up properly.
