Cluster problem need help
I just recently had my dash replaced an now am getting some warning light coming up that didn't before.
1) Mainly it's the airbag light, stealer told me that the cluster is bad and not the airbags, he said he can't reset it.
2) The group of light in the tach portion of the cluster are kind of lit, very dimly but they are there, not always though.
From what the dealer sai the guy who did my work fried the cluster and I need a new one, $750. I don't think that's it, probably a loose wire or something like that. When I got the car back it had all sorts of similar problems so I think he just missed something.
Does anybody have any experience with this sort of thing or know a good place to take it in Baltimore/DC area or PA???
I can do some of the work myself over the holidays if I know what to do, but I don't want to just try stuff.

first of all get someone with VAG tool to look at the error code in the computer...
AFAIK as long as the airbag light is on, none of your airbag will deploy during an accident.
You probably want to take care of that ASAP.
