Clutch problem...
I was rolling through a stop sign earlier today and I downshifted to second gear, but the clutch didn't engage and I smelled the clutch burning...then I shifted to third and same thing happened...revs goes up...but the car didn't want to move.(it was about ~15-20mph)
Then I pulled over and the clutch worked fine again for the next 400 miles. What could be the problem? It only happened that one time. The car drives normal now.

I had the same problem
I have had the same problem with my car somtimes. the problem with my car occurs when I try to launch the car or downshift really hard and heat the clutch. When the clutch heats up, it losses it's gripping potential causing it to slip and to not engage. When you let off the clutch and let your clutch cool for a bit, it regains it's grip allowing you to go again. Just don't do it too often or you'll burn out your clutch and might have to get a new one.
