Which coilover?

Hello.
I need a set of coilover for my A4 as a X'mas gift, but which one should I get?
Koni, H&R or KW? This is my estimate-Koni is around $1000, H&R $1250, and KW is around $1600....can any of you guys give me some feedback on there coilover and how much did you pay for?

I've had both H&Rs and KWs.......

I have the H&R's on my A4 right now. Real nice handling, firm but not overly stiff ride. With only coilovers installed, I have nice neutral handling with minimal body roll. Very well made. Got em used, $800 and still real nice and solid.

KW's are real nice too, if you get them, get the Variant2. They are also dampening adjustable. I had them on my Passat, I loved them. I could SLAM the wagon down low--- 3-4.5" and still have a nice supple, sporty ride. Not bouncy at all! Kind of expensive though, I had them for 2.5 years installed, LOW- no problems.

Too bad no one is selling a used set of coil-over.
So $1600 for KW Variant2 is a good price?
