Cold start problem
So, I have a b5, 1995, 66kw.
in the morning when it's under 10 degrees celsius, he starts to slow, cranks too much, even after I turn the key 5-7 times over to heat up the glow plugs more.
but then after 5 seconds cranking the engine starts.
after a drive, about 30km up and down, when the engine is heated up and then if I turn it off and then on again, the engine cranks immediately.
this was happening now, at least, a few months.
2 weeks before, the turbo was changed, the old one stopped working. after the replacement, the engine did start up good, 2-3 seconds cranking and it starts. it lasted only 2 days like that and the story began again.
we checked the glow plugs which are okay, the battery gets charged enough, the starters brushes were changed, the battery is 1-year-old.
one thing that broke after the turbo was is the thermostat, which is going to be replaced before next weekend.
if somebody could help with is, it would be a great help.
