Cold start problems.
I have a '97 A4 Quatro with the 2.8 5-speed. The car has been well-maintained since new (I'm the second owner).
The problem is when the temp is below 20 deg. F, the car will start right up, then idle roughly, with frequent stalling when off-throttle. It's at the point where I have to heel-and toe when I stop.I have been advised to replace the IAC motor by one technician, clean the throttle-body by another. The car has 89,000 miles on it, and has been pretty dependable otherwise (except for the control-arms!). Any help would be greatly appreciated
