Control Arm Problems
I have a 2001.5 Audi A4 1.8T Sport that I just purchased. What are these problems I hear with the control arms, what causes them, and what should I expect in the future with them?

Worn ball joints and rubber bushings cause the control arms to be replaced. Usually rattle and
squeeking is associated with this and it is very expensive to replace at a dealer. Cheaper alternatives can be found. What pisses of most people is that Auidi does not supply the bushings and balljoints as separate parts, so the whole control arm assembly has to be replaced.
