I love a good deal and good buy as much as the next guy... but CA's are not worth it.

Control Arm Question
I'm kind of low on cash, if I get the FCP groton control arms, which are about half the price then FEBI, are they really going to be that bad in comparison? My rear left suspension just started squeaking after getting the bearing and axle replaced.

Thanks, I remember this thread. The thing that had gotten me was that it seemed like it was random chance that a control arm would fail earlier than expected whether or not it was febi or chinese junk.

I never wouldve thought that replacing the front control arm wouldnt solve the problem for the problem coming from the rear 
I was asking because if I decide to replace one i'm just gonna do the whole suspension at once since I plan to do it anyway.

Take it from someone who has had a B5 for 8 years... get the best you can afford. I am on my 3rd, 4th, and 5th round of some suspension parts, from e-bay chinese to so-called German- as good as original complete kits( BTW, Thanks RMR Autosport in Montreal, they lasted 17000 kms until they creaked and had visible cracks in the obvious substandard alloy arms)
The labour involved and grief of poor diagnosis of which arms or links are bad will leave you beaten in a corner. Alot say they exceed Audi quality and durabilty, but most lower priced kits are not worth the shipping charges.
