Cost to replace Trunk Lid.

I backed into a tree and got a dent about the size of a golf ball in the crease on the trunk lid. I took it to the dealer for an estimate and they claim that the rest of the lid is now bent by a couple of micro-meters. So they say it has to be replaced. Else it will leak. I have had this dent for about 2 months and no leakage so far. I also asked them about PDR and they just said all sorts of bad things about it.

I have three questions:

1) Is the dealer full of it? Does it realy need to be repalced? Is he just taking me for a ride?

2) Should it cost $951 to replace this?

3) What other body shops besides the deal would you trust? (In houston please)
