CV Boot problem!!
I have a major problem guys. please give a light!
While putting the axle back in the hub bearing assembly it did not go in at all. i then started hiting right above the hub so the axle would go in but now
1- the bearing is really hard to rotate
2- the outer axle does not go in the hub bearing assembly at all, even after i have them both out and in a table to work on it.
3- what is the best way to remove the abs sensor wire? just cut it?
4- what is the price for a new axle and where can i get one since ecs only has auto? or should i replace just the cv joint and housing?

The ABS sensor and wire pulls out of the wheel bearing housing (spindle) or unplugs under the ...
fender liner. I would replace that wheel bearing. You can buy one from the dealer or online and take the spindle in to a machine shop to have it pressed in for $20 or so. I highly recommend RAXLES.COM for the axle as well. They are guaranteed for life.
