dash display

Not sure if this is a common problem but i just bought a 2001 A4 and the trip computer display has lines missing through it. Can this be fixed at a reasonable price?

This is a VERY common problem. I think the only fix is

to replace the entire instrument cluster. If there is another (cheaper) way I'd like to know too. My trip computer is almost completely gone. I actually don't know why I even keep it on.

anyone tried bba-reman for a new cluster?

I saw their TT stuff but didn't see anything listed for the A4

I might have missed it thought and I haven't yet tried calling. It might be a good call you make.
