Dashboard lights
The other night when I turned on the headlights, I no longer have any dashboard lights, with the exception of the odometer. My console lights are also out.
Is there a fuse or bulb that might have blown.
What should I do?
(very weird every bulbs blown at the same time, any shortcircuit?) or maybe your headlight switch does not kicks the interior-relay on.
To narrow down the problem buy:
- haynes repair manual
will tell you how to remove and find the bulbs/relay, including pic.
- vag tools (to disable and enable airbags),
What i am araid of is that your ecu's instrument module is blown...Check any faultcode.
- etka parts cd, or go to dealer and ask for a printout of the location of the bulbs behind the consoles etc. You need to special order the bulbs form them too if all of your bulbs wee blown.
- other tools to remove the consoles and dashboard, no special tool but you do need some cfartmans tools to help you if you have never done any job to your car b4.
