Dead Center Computer screen

Help! Just lost the computer message screen - slowly died from right to left over 2 days. Is it the screen or a sending unit?? Has this happened to anyone?

yeah, it's the screen

Typical Audi problem is dimming FIS screen because of heat. My display is also fading slowly away. Try coldspray(non butane) to test that the screen is a problem. Also could be leds behind the screen, but my guess is that they all prob wont burn in same time.

I am currently trying to get replacement from Germany dealers in reasonable price(=below 100 EUR) or bying complete meter set from wrecked car with FIS.
