Dead tranny... Odd Code?

My 2000 2.8Q Tip transmission bled out this morning. While shopping for a replacement, I learned a good bit about the variety of transmissions in play for this car.

Mechanic tells me the code on this one is ERK. I can't find any reference to that code anywhere online, including these fine forums.

While it wouldn't surprise me that *MY* car has a one-of-a-kind unit that will cost a fortune to replace, it does seem odd.

Anyone ever hear of this code before?

*edit* Those were for manual tranmissions sorry. DTV, DRN, EFQ, EKD, EMP, FAL, FHH, FAS, FHJ, FAQ

for automatic transmissions.
