Default Debadging?...

Im to lazy to STFA so I just figured I'd ask.
I dont see why everyone is so for debadging. I mean, I think it might look good, but its such a big commitment for me. You cant really put them back on exact, and I'm TERRIFIED of paint fade (black a4, 35k miles). I took off the dealer badge and I think I can see a little fade, might be hallucinating though.
Anyway, I'm just looking for some arguments to sway me one way or another. Debadging is a very nice, quick mod that I could do, but it seems a little to permanant. Just lookin for comments.

Default if there really is fade

then you shouldn't have any trouble getting them back on in the exact spot

after a few washes and waxes i really doubt you'll see anything. i had a light ghost for a week, but it went away.

Default MUCH easier. on that note,

I often times find myself wanting to debadge the rings, with the sole intention of not having to wax between each one.
