debadging
I have a 1997 Laser Red A4 and I am interested in debadging it. I have got the instructions off the FAQ but have become unsure on whether there will be a shadow where the badge was. Even if I buff it the shadow may still be there and then what do I do. Any thoughts on my little dilemma.

Just try one letter first, If you get a shadow, put it back on & forget about debadging

Caution...red is a tough color because it oxidizes more quickly than other colors...
You tend to see more faded red cars on the road than any other colors. If you've kept the finish well polished and waxed since it was new, then it should be OK.
