Well, i couldnt sleep until very late last night. I've been browsing some nissan sites such as maxima.org... I suddenly realized ive been neglecting my maxima. I go on AW or rennlists almosty everyday! And I have never went to a nissan related meet nor a drive! So i start looking at these sites and was stunned by the mods they do, too numerous to list, both cosmetic and mechanical. They spend way too much money on
their thousand dollar stereos and fancy exterior AND interior lighting and trim. I was flat out amazed by the creativity, effort, money, and time into their cars. I see so many Maximas on the sites, that by the time they're done, its a $35K+ car! Audi might sell a more expensive product, but these guys spend much more down the road. To be fair, im guilty too, i spend more than 2Gs so far on the maxima. I think i will attend a few of their meets and let them realize that spending less on a audi gives them a very good car.
However, i'll doubt i'll convert any of them, just look at the people on AW, people just cant stand BMWs, and almost all of those guys never owned a BMW or Benz. I'm glad i got my audi, cause its a good car and a good financial decision, but i dont think i'll love it like i do now, if it werent for people like u or AW. So i guess people do influence others, and thanks to the net, we are actually more rigid in terms of our believes, i doubt any of u will ever own a japanese car. Is this good?? i dont think so, i thought the net let us get more info,but it actually steers us in a way that we only look for
things we know and love, and hate the things we dont even more. Im just fortunate that ive been blessed to see the differences and having the oppurtunity to play around with cars that are totally different in all areas & demographics. Why cant everybody be more like me, and just love everything on wheels?? Dont get me started on
pick-up trucks and american V8s, I'm shopping for the new SVT lighting 380hp!!(before my girl finds out=)
