Default Designed a AntiTheft start button system

First off I am not reveling how to steal a car or how to steal mine...lol I am putting the idea out there to anyone else that might like to do the same to prevent a stolen car.

Its a simple $2.00 switch and about 3 feet of wire needed. I tapped into the clutch start switch wires and added another push button switch in series with the existing safety system.

This allows the driver to install a push button switch anywhere he would like that allows the car to start. Basically, mine is set up so that you have to push in the clutch and press the secret button to start the car, If this button is not pushed the car wont start. It will only start one way otherwise. I will not disclose this information but if you know dont say it either. This prevents your car from starting without touching the ignition wires/ battery kill switchs and anything else. I will post a write up if there is anybody that is interested in this mod. It is not a total deterant yet a simple modification to allow a common theft from stealing the car. I would rather have a damaged window and missing stuff then a loss insurance claim cause they wont cover all my mods. At this point it will only work with a manual car but it is very possible to do the same using the brake sensor on an automatic. Meaning you have to press the brake and a secret button to start.

Default I'm confused about how this will work for an automatic.

You just turn the key to start. There is no factory installed safeties like in the manuals.

Default my friend did that years ago with a magnetic switch...

the kind used for window alarms. All you would do then is bury the switch behind the dash and place the magnet up to that area when you wanted to start the car (in his case a truck). Completely invisible. You could leave the magnet in the car, but the thief would have to know what it was for, and where to place it to start the car.

Default you could interupt the wire that goes from the ignition...

switch to the solenoid for the starter. Same thing you turn the switch no start.
