detailing

planning on going all out cleaning the car this weekend...wash, wax (need to get some light scratches out-silver) any suggestions on best products to buy and order to go in???

But he wants to do it this weekend. Any decent auto supply store has 3M IHG.

But what you won't find at most stores is One Grand's Blitz Wax, which many people here (including me) would recommend. It can be found at carcareonline.com, autosupermart.com, and onegrand.com, among other places. Autosupermart ships exclusively by overnight or 2-day carriers (and you pay for it), so they might be able to get it to you by tomorrow if you contact them now. Otherwise use any high quality wax with carnauba in it -- after you glaze.
