do I wait??
When I get home tonight I'll have my very own APR 1.0 bar chip. My dilemma is this: I have my 10,000 mile maint. next week!! Do I install my new chip this weekend or do I do the 'mature' thing and wait?? If I do install, will the dealer pick up the ECU disconnect?

If you disconnect the ecu it's going to set the "B+ voltage low" code. Granted, this could be set by leaving your lights on and killing the battery or disconnecting the battery for "whatever reason" but they will see the code with their scanner.

To me the decision is really, do you intend to defraud Audi on warranty claims? If you are honest and the answer is no, then put it in now.<p>If the answer is that you would rather not give them an excuse to blame an unrelated failure on the chip (which is highly likely)...well then I can't help. I am wrestling with this same decision myself!!
