Does Anyone Have Threaded Inserts?
I have been looking for threaded inserts to use on my seat install. After searching the archives I did find that SexySantorinA4 had some but he hasn't replied to my email. I think the size I need is M8 but some others will work.
I looked at Grainger's but they only have them in boxes of 100, I need four (OK maybe six since Murphy is always lurking). Is there anyone I can buy some from?

How Thick Is the Channel Below the Seats?
McMaster Carr has rivet nuts for different material thicknesses. The range is either .5 to 3.3mm or 3.8 to 7.9mm.
I would guess it is about 3.1mm but it could be more thick than that I suppose.
