Does anyone remember...
Who did the mod where they made the top brake light LED?
The reason I ask is because sunday night i was driving home to Mass from NY on 95 in CT by exit 30; there was construction, traffic was very slow, and a white A4 1.8T with CT plates was in front of me. What intrigued me about this A4 was it looked different somehow. Then i realized that the brake light was LED's, instead of a bulb.
Just wanted to know if this was the same person on AW who did this mod.

I didn't use LED bulbs, the kind that has the fixture of a standard bulb with many LEDs in it. I used LED clusters from Lumex. and drilled slightly bigger holes in the 3rd break light assembly. wired appropriately with resistors for the correct current draw.
