Does this sound like an alignment problem or something else.
My 2000 Avant has about 4,000 miles on it and the on center feel of the steering has become light feeling. and the car wants to dart not drift whichever way the road leans. It also does not feel as stable at speeds over 70mph as it used to. I have played with the air pressures in one pound increments and it does not make any difference from 32 to 35 psi and above 35psi it gets real twitchy. I would like to know if anyone else has had this occur and what the solution was. I am afraid that if I take it to the dealer they will have "Bubba" take it for a spin around the block and say nothing is wrong since it does not pull if the road is perfectly level. I hope this makes sense to you all since it did not make any sense to the servic advisor when I made my appt. Any pre-dealer visit ammunition would be greatly apprecieated.
