Door Locks
the wierest thing started happening after parking the car for a week....i put the key in the door turn it twice only one door unlocks, the light still flashes...i put it in the trunk all the doors open i put the key in the ignition the door locks and doesnt start...can anyone HELP!

can you start the car at all?

it's in the trunk, in a pocket behind the rear pass wheel well. Just remove the trim panel. there are 2 tubes and 3 harnesses attached. Note, removing the harnesses will prevent you from operating your car.

its the wierdest thing...i tried the trunk opened all the doors then put the key in
and didnt start, got frustrated got locked in, put the key in the car started i drove it parked it opened the door and the alarm went off ... wondering if i got an aftermarket alarm if it can buy pass this issue

well, did you notice any other problems (with interior lights, windows)? Did you try to get in
through the pass side? is your remote working? What year is your car?
Take a look at yours. It's not hard to access. Is the foam around it wet or is there any moisture.? Did it rain a lot while your car was parked?
Mine was a nightmare. I had to open the door (triggering the alarm) put the key in the ignition, pop the hood, disconnect the battery, re-connect the battery just to start and drive it. As soon as i removed the key, the locks would lock and the alarm would go off. I eventually removed the center (i think) harness from the CLP but that disabled my interior lights and windows. I drove it this way for a few days until I sourced a new CLP that solved all the problems.
There are a bunch of wires going to that pump and it controls more than just the locks and alarm.
In your case, if things are not all that screwy, it may be a door sensor or something else. But if your locks are acting weird as you drive etc. It may be your CLP and it is NOT cheap.

yeah the lights just started going on and off, when i open the doors
the lights dont automatically go on, but they will randomly go on and off...the car rental place called and said the alarm and lights were flashing randomly...one day...i have a problem using the key its stiff sometimes, but it was so random this problem...how much was ur clp?
