The transmissions (both manual and Tip) are quite different. The manual is a 6-speed in the S4(5-speed in A4). Both the Tips are 5-speed, but the S4 has a "beefed" up version so it can handle the extra torque/hp of the biTurbo engine<p><a href=" http://sdaoc.sixmillion.com/aas"><img src=" http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ananda4sig.JPG" border=0></a>

Err, but as far as quattro goes, nope, same system
