DTC code 16395

DTC code 16395
I got the following code today. Basically car die while i was idling at a light.
DTC 16395 A Camshaft Position (bank1) Timing Over Advanced or System Performance (sporadic)
car would not start right away.. .but eventually started after a few tries
I also got the above code about 2 weeks ago as well as a
DTC 16706 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Sensor -G28: No Signal (sporadic).
I recently has my cat replaced and new O2 sensors put into the car.
2001.5 1.8TM with Giac chip
Anyone have any ideas/input?

sounds like a failing camshaft position sensor
Had a similar issue with a '95 90.
It was intermittent, it wouldn't start, went back a few hours later and it started and ran.
If the camshaft position sensor is failing it will cause a no-start. But, in my experience it would also throw a CEL while running occasionally.

do you think this would have been a result from the o2 sensor and cat replacement. I don't know if the camshaft position sensor would be involved in the work i had done lately. BTW.. how much money am i looking at for that repair?
